I am so incredibly happy for Knicks fans.
1994 was one of the most gut-wrenching Finals losses in NBA history.
Not getting back again until 1999, when Ewing had a torn Achilles and they were close to drawing dead to the Duncan-Robinson Spurs was a different type of cruelty.
And somehow never truly coming close in any season since then should have just been unfathomable. Instead, it was entirely predictable and at various times they were a national punch line.
To turn this season around from what it seemed like it was going to be (another promising but inevitably disappointing season), into what it became (the single most dominant month of playoff basketball from a margin of victory standpoint in the history of the NBA), is truly remarkable.
I am picking the Knicks in the Finals but more importantly I’ll be rooting for the Knicks in the Finals.
The NYC hoops fans deserve this moment.
After hearing about the debacle that is the last season of #theboys I’ve never felt more vindicated for dropping a show after less than a season.
Weak men really do make the worst times.
@jasonwhitlock@TheRealCoach_JB Jason, slight, disingenuous miss. From what I heard, @Akademiks didn’t offer to start a go fund me, he pointed out the real probability of one being started, based on previous experiences (karmelo Anthony, Shiloh). Much like you did.
@yosana_black@jasonwhitlock On top of that, several other “races” wouldn’t be seen as “chimping out” for responding in anger. You see the same behaviour in Israeli-Palestinian arguments, and it’s not “chimping out” then. Maybe not too #fearless after all? @jasonwhitlock
@jasonwhitlock I’m actually a fan of @Chris_Broussard his take on the lack of black coaching hires was questionable. You mentioned something in the show you used to say on SFY that I wish he could answer: if there are racist owners, who do we think they are?
“Time is limited.” For what? A question about a sporting game?
Unprofessional maybe, but one person seems to be seeing the big picture of life, and it’s not this guy.

This female reporter encouraging Jacksonville Jaguars HC Liam Coen after their heartbreaking Wild Card loss vs Buffalo Bills, is being applauded by sports media, but this is unprofessional.
Your job is not to turn a presser into an affirmation circle, no matter how good your intention.
You can tell him this off to the side, or just text him or PR to pass it on to him.
Time is limited. Make it about asking good questions.
Baltimore Ravens players, including Lamar Jackson & Derrick Henry, washed local kid’s feet & provided them new shoes for Christmas 👏
"I wanted to do something for the community and do something Christ-like."

Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson dedicated his “My Cause My Cleats” to supporting persecuted Christians across the globe 👏
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
