The trips are endless, luxurious, and incomplete without large convoys, complete with a fleet of helicopters. The millions of shillings in mobilization handouts on each trip add to the reckless spending spree that President William Ruto’s regime has adopted for his domestic trips.

Bro the Reddie Matere story is actually wild. Ogopa watu hujui hii Nairobi.
This young man has a sob story. He claims he was abandoned at hospital after birth, raised by a good Samaritan who died after he finished Form 4. So he comes to Nairobi from Bungoma to hustle.
He starts stalking Oga Obinna. Hangs at the shooting spot every day (Samaki Samaki) but Obinna doesn’t notice him.
Next move? He goes to where Obinna drops his kids at school, tries giving the son a letter. Teacher finds it creepy. Police are involved. Obinna comes, doesn’t even know the guy. Bro gets arrested and spends 2 weeks in police custody. Obinna doesn't press any charges, so he's released.
Few weeks later, he tracks down Obinna to Westlands. He sees Obinna driving to the studio… throws himself in fron of the car. Lucky Obinna wasn’t speeding.
Finally Reddie Matere gets Obinna's attention. He stops and listens to the story, and tries to save him. Rents him a mabati house somewhere in Huruma, tries to record him a song because he had claimed to be a rapper. Then did an Interview, and now the plot started twisting.
People recognise Reddie Matere from the interview. Turns out he’s not an orphan at all. Both parents are alive and rich. He’s just a spoilt kid and a petty thief who’s been stealing since high school
Obinna calls Reddie Matere for an Interview, then brings the aunt. During this interview they call his mum, dad, grandma… Reddie denies knowing ALL of them.
The Dad is ready to help him but Reddie Matere has refused. In the end Obinna gives up, hands him 2K and tells him adios.
There is an old saying that says, before jumping into someone's mess to save them, make sure you’re not interrupting an important life lesson they need to learn.
Alcohol addiction is a very dangerous demon.
You find a breastfeeding mother leaving a sleeping baby at home, saying, "I'm just going to buy salt," only to return four hours later conducting a one-woman concert for the neighborhood dogs.
You find another one staggering down the road after sampling every illicit brew known to mankind.
The shoes are missing, the innerwear is missing, but confidence? Confidence is at 100%.
Then there are these two warriors fighting in the middle of the market, tearing each other's clothes like they're auditioning for a low-budget action movie.
The crowd is recording videos while the fighters are busy proving who has the strongest illicit brew in their bloodstream.
The next morning, when shown the videos, they stare in disbelief and ask, "Who is that?" My sister, that is you. In HD. From three different camera angles.
We must fight alcoholism by all means available.
How do we defeat illicit brew? Make beer, whisky, gin and every legal drink so affordable that the illicit brewers themselves abandon their products and become customers.
At this rate, the biggest competitor of illicit brew is not the police. It is a discounted bottle of legal alcohol.
Today, alongside veteran legal minds Martha Karua, former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga, Gitobu Imanyara, and Prof. Kivutha Kibwana, we stood with the grieving parents of Rex Maasai and Erickson. Together, we officially petitioned and notified the Inspector General of Police of a peaceful nationwide march on June 25th, 2026.
We invite all Kenyans mothers, fathers, siblings, and friends to march to Parliament to demand justice and lay flowers where our children’s lives were cruelly taken.
Parallel vigils and commemorations will take place across all 47 counties.
Mark your calendars: June 25th will be observed as a Public Holiday. No work, no school !
@WendyLIR@nyorude Sifuna wasn't invited to ODM by any of those loudmouths currently pontificating loudly about him leaving. He will leave at his pleasure when he feels like leaving.
@WendyLIR@nyorude You must be dumb by birth. The MoU between ODM na UDA was signed soon after Raila lost the AUC commission seat. By then, akina mbadi were already in cabinet. As for Sifuna even Raila said he speaks for the party and Raila though he had the authority, he never fired him. Kondoo
@_yoliswaa@georgediano Harassing people at their businesses claiming you don't want foreigners in south Africa but not chasing Indians and white people but Africans is envy. Peak masochism that one.
BREAKING: MP Majimbo has delivered a fiery speech in Parliament defending Kenyans against the Finance Bill.
He echoed many of the concerns Kenyans have been raising about higher taxes and the rising cost of living.
This is a video every Kenyan should watch before the debate moves any further.
