@AeornFlippout @tha_rami Lol, you know what I mean though.
"Sorry, we can't publish Valheim 2, Cult of the Lamb 2, Dredge 2, etc. because we're full."
They'd figure it out.
@AeornFlippout @tha_rami I always thought this when I heard it. There's really no such thing as "full" for a publisher. If they wanted to and the opportunity was big enough, they could just hire a whole new team for that one more game.
@RaveofRavendale Yes, but also what about all the M&A funded by cheap debt that's now more expensive? Has to be hurting companies like Team17 and Embracer that were purchasing IP and studios the last few years.
@GollumGame@SkillUpYT Thanks for the great review on this game, thought you'd like to see this, first time I've ever seen anyone misspell the name of their own game in their apology.
Have you joined our playtest yet? Over 150 people have so far, getting some great feedback.
Just a reminder you don't need to wait for a key, you get auto accepted and can download and play right away! so what are you waiting for?

@TreadLightly_RE Wow! This is so on point for me, been thinking about this a lot lately. If we exclude periods of illness or disability and involuntary unemployment, probably three weeks.
Released a new trailer for Sovereign Syndicate today. Really happy with the progress we've made and excited for what comes next.

@JamhammerRob@CanadaGameDevs Hey Rob, we're using Dialogue System for Unity on ours, I can highly recommend it. Good integrations with other assets and external dialogue tools like articy and twine.
@CanadaGameDevs Working on Sovereign Syndicate, a Victorian Steampunk cRPG. Exciting times, just got CMF Prototype funding and purchased some new art assets.

Latest devlog is up if anyone wants to see @TheTarmack and I discussing gamedev.
It's from a while ago but we thought it was important to share in light of our recent success. To give hope and support to any other gamedevs out there struggling with motivation and funding.
7 months ago we were denied prototype funding from the CMF. Given our recent announcement that the second CMF application was successful, we thought we'd share a more raw look at how that denial hit us in July 2021. #CanadaMediaFund#Indiedev#resolve
