Holidays such as Yule, Easter, Midsummer, were naturally N.European holdover traditions from previous Heathen practices.

The concept of monotheism, a chosen people, and a massiah scapegoat for dishonorable men desirous of displacing the responsibility for their crimes (sin) upon someone else, are Middle Eastern.

Foreign objects in mirror are closer than they appear.

The Essenes, and all the other Jewish sects that Rabbi Yeshua grew up around, were Jewish. As was Yeshua himself. There were other people on the planet at this time. The Jews and the Roman’s weren’t the only humans that existed. Those other people didn’t worship Jesus, or Yahweh, or Ma’at. They worshipped their native Gods. They were conquered. Enslaved. Bought. Murdered. Swindled. Raped. In this way, Europe become “Christendom.” But that’s not what it is. Christianity is a foreign object.

You have an emotional laden and packed paragraph denigrating European ancestral Gods and faith, and the lifting up of a Jewish foreign object. It will NEVER work forever. Christians have THOUSANDS of denominations. Where does one correct interpretation of Christianity begin, and one end? Who is more right, with their apologetics? Although I understand that most Christians are unaware of what their Pagan past consisted of, I find 2 things ironic;

- it is Christian tradition to assimilate indigenous cultures and pretend it's their own; this Christian seems to continue that tradition (through ignorance.)

- This is the end-product of Christianity; getting people so incredibly uprooted that they can no longer understand who they are and where they come from. With that logic you can say that the poster is both a villain and a victim - a sad fact that's applicable on many (if not all) of these zealot type people.

To the Norse pagans and Anglo Saxons respect was not a passive inheritance but an active stance carved out of an indifferent universe. They operated under the ever looming shadow of Wyrd or fate as it is now called, believing that while a man’s death was entirely predetermined and that his reputation and deed being known then as lof or dom was the only thing possessing absolute permanence.

True heroism meant defying cosmic odds... a hero did not beg for safety or validation from the gods nor wait for their aid, but instead stood firmly in his own agency, his own fearlessness, his own willingness to sacrifice, and to strive to greatness with his attempts to carve out his name into the indifferent universe and rage against inevitable doom.

This internal grounding directly impacted their view of leadership... which relied on absolute consistency and a willingness to meet and master conflict. In Anglo Saxon poems like The Battle of Maldon, leadership is explicitly stripped of all self preservation. When the commander Byrhtnoth refuses to back down and allows the Vikings to cross the river to fight on equal terms, he prioritizes his uncompromising code over a cowardly and superficial peace.

True leaders were expected to be ring-givers or hring-dróttinn... men whose strength allowed them to protect their followers and command authority through actions, not pleas. This is mirrored in the god Tyr, who calmly placed his right hand into the jaws of the monstrous wolf Fenrir to bind the beast when all others stepped back. Tyr did not shout, panic, or attempt to negotiate his boundaries. No, instead he accepted the immense personal sacrifice with quiet certainty to ensure the stability of his entire society by bearing the weight necessary to do so.

Finally we arrive at self-mastery was viewed as the ultimate shield against a chaotic world, demanding total dominion over one’s base emotional impulses. The Hávamál or the sayings of Odin... routinely warns against the weak man who locks himself with thought leading to inaction, speaks excessively to fit in, or lets his anger dictate his actions.

"The heart of a man is like a stormy sea, and his mind is often in turmoil. He who cannot calm his own heart will never find peace."

Stanza 23:
"A man should not be too quick to anger, nor too quick to take offense. For anger clouds the mind, and offense leads to ruin."

Stanza 44
"Do not be swayed by the opinions of others, nor by the praise or blame of the crowd. For the wise man follows his own conscience, and the fool follows the crowd."

A man who constantly reacts with anger, panic, or desperation reveals that his emotions control him, and people rarely respect someone who cannot control himself. Strength, in contrast, often appears quiet, composed, measured and ever ready. The man who remains calm under pressure creates an atmosphere of authority because calmness suggests control, not just of the situation, but of oneself. Self-mastery is one of the deepest forms of strength. This is why Machiavelli believed it was better for a leader to be respected than to be loved.

To pagan cultures an undisciplined mind was an open gate for an enemy. Real strength and real leadership meant locking away panic, sorrow, and desperate desires for approval, greeting the world with a calm, unyielding presence that silently commanded respect through visible action and an ever momentum forward.
