Honored to join the @USEmbassyKenya 2026 Youth Leadership & Governance Dialogue. I emphasized, While passion sparks reform, strategy must precede emotion to build resilient democratic governance. Kenya is a strategic capable partner ready for serious economic investment 🇰🇪🇺🇸.
The Day 1 session of the Regional Youth Capacity Strengthening Forum, in partnership with @ORPP_Kenya and @IRI_Africa, focused on turning political parties into genuine vehicles for reform rather than just election tools.
We shared our "Go Get Them" strategy for grassroots civic education with Minister @COSullivanTD & Amb. @CaitrionaIngol1, @IrlEmbKenya:
1. Street Concerts: Music led constitutional awareness.
2. SWIT Pool Model: Learning while earning in informal settlements.
3. Media Literacy.
Digital spaces should amplify democracy, not silence voices. I joined a community townhall in Kiambu County with @MzalendoWatch under the Democracy Decoded Circle to discuss the intersection of TFGBV and digital democratic participation. Safe online civic engagement is essential.
In partnership with @MzalendoWatch under the Democracy Decoded Circle, we have just concluded a townhall meeting, Our focus: Tackling Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV).

From classroom theory to real world engagement in governance. As a student at @sppgkenya, I participated in the Political Dialogue Forum convened by @CMDKenya at Uhuru Park. Inspiring to see Gen Z actively shaping conversations on democracy and inclusive political participation.
The Supply Chain and Public Participation departments of Nairobi City County Government were represented in these discussions and provided key insights on AGPO implementation, procurement data, and ongoing reforms to enhance openness and efficiency within the NCCG’s supply chain processes.
Key objectives include:
✅ Aligning Nairobi City County Government’s Open Government Partnership (OGP) local commitments
✅ Strengthening inclusive and transparent procurement processes
✅ Building the capacity of special interest groups to participate in county tenders
Today, TI-Kenya, with support from the @opencontracting Partnership, convened the Nairobi City County Government (NCCG) Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO) Beneficiaries Stakeholders Forum.
This forum brought together special interest groups (women, youth, and PwDs) to strengthen their participation in Open Contracting through public procurement under the AGPO framework.
One thing I truly appreciate about 2025 is how profoundly it has exposed me to the field of democracy. From the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy to civic organizations such as Bunge Mashinani Initiative, ForumCiv, TISA, NDI, IEA Kenya, SPPG, and the European Union.
