@BubleGump64@EvoSquareYT I’ve never minded the wrapper. The point of the first film is that they “spared no expense” but overlooked the minor details. And that arrogance is what caused things to go wrong.
@LvVStudiosYT The previous trilogy was supposed to be ending for the franchise. Dominion is very much played as an ending. We get the set up and pay off in that trilogy
Again, I empathize with the blue ball. But, they were never required there was no requirement to explore that further.
@LvVStudiosYT I never liked the dinosaurs in our world concept that much. And I liked the back to basics approach that Rebirth took a lot.
I do get being let down by that though. But that’s nocking a movie for what it isn’t. And not what it is.
@BorneShadow TFA brings a fresh and exciting cast of characters, new ideas, and themes that we hadn’t seen before.
If your entire argument begins and ends with plot beats and visual similarities, then maybe you’re the one looking at these movies on a surface level. 🤷♂️
@DatBaconDude@BorneShadow You’d be hard pressed to find an interesting criticism about the sequel trilogy that isn’t just making fun of “Somehow Palpatine returned” or saying TFA copied ANH
@BorneShadow TPM also follows the same blueprint as ANH. You can literally watch the making-of documentary and hear George talk about it: “It’s like poetry, it rhymes.”
I’m so bored of this take. All the Indiana Jones movies are copies of each other too, and nobody complains about that
the iPhone is what made me fall in love with photography.
seeing Apple double down today on gen-AI imagery and AI photo reframing sucks, but the real nightmare is potentially turning the most popular camera in the world into a slop machine.
make real things.
