Brits spend 53.6 billion pounds a year on holidays.
The majority of those holidays are to places that hit 35 degrees or more daily.
They actually pay good money to fry themselves on the beaches.
Yet 35 degrees at home is an emergency.
We live a clown world of pussies... ๐คก
People will do whatever it takes to help a sick dog. They empty their accounts at the vet. A pig feels everything that dog feels, but all they get is a factory farm. I've never heard anyone explain the difference except which one they happened to grow up eating.
In 1998, two pigs escaped a slaughterhouse in England and hid for a week. The country fell in love. The outcry got so big a national newspaper bought them, and they got to live at an animal sanctuary. Almost everyone cheering had a pig on their plate. The only difference: these two pigs got seen.
๐ ๐ฌ๐ง Zeteo UK is here to disrupt Britainโs broken media! Weโll be bringing fearless, independent journalism to the UK - no bowing to political pressure, no corporate interests, just fearless journalism.
Blaming asylum seekers for homelessness? What about the 720,000 empty homes in England, and the 1,627,450 second homes in England alone.
Blaming asylum seekers for expensive food shops? What about the ยฃ3,100,000,000 profit Tesco made last year?
Blaming asylum seekers for expensive energy bills? What about the ยฃ438,000,000,000 made by just 20 energy companies in profit?
Blaming immigrants for not getting an NHS appointment? What about the 260,000+ migrant workers keeping the NHS going? And what about the 25% real term cut in NHS funding, think that could do it?
Blaming people on welfare for a lack of money to fund the NHS? What about the ยฃ36,000,000,000 tax gap due to avoidance and evasion by the elite?
It's time to realise it's not immigrants, asylum seekers or people on welfare causing you any harm, it's capitalism and the mega rich hoarding all the wealth.
A truly intelligent species wouldnโt poison its own drinking water, strip away its topsoil, drive wildlife populations into decline, and create chronic illness through the very food system it depends on.
Foxes, sharks and puffins are on a shortlist of wildlife to appear on Britain's next banknotes, replacing historic figures โincluding World War Two leader Winston Churchill, novelist Jane Austen and mathematician Alan Turing https://t.co/2xoRFyCg0G
My dad was a farmer and refused to let the local hunt set a hoof on his land, as had his father before him. The hunt trampled over crops and demolished stone ditches, it disturbed other animals and it was full of middle-class idiots who could barely dig their own gardens.
Dad loathed fox hunting, he thought blood sports were babaric. In his young days he went to a hare coursing event and said it was one of the worst things he had ever seen.
He would be delighted we are finally banning hunting in Northern Ireland. Don't ever believe the lie that farmers supported hunting, the majority of them never did.
Dairy isnโt harmless. ๐
Behind every glass of milk is a mother separated from her baby, a cycle of exploitation, and lives treated like machines instead of living beings. ๐
