i know that fibromyalgia can be treated and he came up with 2 solutions in his stream that can solve his financial and healthcare problems, such as moving in with his parents or moving to nebraska, two of which can actually help him save for financial care. it puts me in grief that he wants to choose suicide over that, and that’s why i’m more firm about this than i think i have to be.

he told us to not freak out when telling us he thinks suicide is the answer, and lots of people are saying “if it’s Max’s choice, let him do it”, i think that fairly comes close to normalizing suicide. not that i think he means to do it, i think he is not well and needs to rethink what he’s doing
