The right to peacefully protest must be protected. I join the calls for an immediate de-escalation of violence against the #EndSARS protestors. It is critical that we listen to, and engage with, the voices of the youthβnot try to silence them.
1. @MBuhari should rise up to the occasion and address the nation.
2. He should unconditionally commit to far reaching reforms.
3. He should give #EndSars protesters at least 2 days to set up a leadership with stated demands.
On the #EndSARS protest, the first strategic mistake made by the State Governors was the resort to rushing to Abuja to meet Mr President, rather than directly engaging the youths. Now, they have lost the goodwill and bargaining power to engage. Civic leaders are needed now!
We are tired of remaining in an abusive relationship with a government that treats us like animals. Their total control over our mental, physical and emotional state is a complete psychological torture. It's either the CHANGE they promised or a divorce #ENDBADGOVERNANCE
I was 1 when he died, so all I know are stories from family and pictures. But one thing I am sure of: he would be so proud of what the βlazyβ Nigerian youth have been doing over the past 11 days. He would have been 73 this year, & he would have come out to protest with the youth.

#EndSARS
I applaud the resourcefulness and courage of Nigerian youth in the #EndSARS. Powerful to let your voices be heard peacefully. Letβs join hands for a positive outcome through a One Nigeria approach.
