Kim Damti.
I wonder if the Irish football team and those trying to boycott the Israel/Ireland football team thought of her?
She was an Irish Citizen 🇮🇪 and murdered by Palestinian Terrorists on October 7th.
Here is her story and some words from the heart from her family:
She was at the Nova Festival.
Her mother said Kim called her at 6:30 a.m. as Hamas was attacking the party, and asked:
“Mummy, what should I do?” Her son took the phone and told her to seek shelter, and that was the last they heard from her.
Her body was discovered several days later, and she was buried in Gedera on October 12.
Damti is survived by her parents, Jennifer and Gidon, and four siblings. Her family owns the well-known Falafel Damti stand in Gedera, where Kim grew up.
Her cousin, Hadas Damti Padlon, described Kim as “beloved, beautiful and good, whose only sin was going to a party to dance and enjoy.”
“Kimmy was a source of pride and joy to her parents and siblings,” she wrote.
“Kim was a beautiful, gentle, light-filled girl, there was nobody who didn’t love her, she was a ray of sunshine in the world!”
Her relative, Nasrin Damti, described Kim as “my angel… I am broken and destroyed and cannot believe that I won’t get to see your beautiful smile anymore.
My Kimmy, you were the angel of the family and especially of me. Watch over us from above, and give us the strength to deal with the horrible pain.”
At her funeral, her brother Daniel Damti eulogized her and spoke of her final moments.
“Kimmy, our flower, my little sister… you were always full of generosity. You left for the party and I told you, ‘Go, have fun, this is your time.'” He said they last spoke at 7 a.m. and she told him she was hiding out in a shelter, “and I was relieved. I didn’t know that that’s where it would end.”
“You will always stay in my heart, smart and pure, I’ll never forget you. I promise you I’ll protect everyone, the whole family. Our angel, you will always stay beautiful in our memories,” he said.
At the ceremony, her sister, Emily Damti, lamented the loss of “Kimmy, my little sister, my sunshine, my flower girl, my successful, beautiful sister. I can’t get your smile out of my head. I can’t imagine summing up your life when you just started living.”
Emily said she “received a gift to spend 22 years by your side, I was privileged to be your sister.
You managed to do so much during that time, an excellent student, who also found time for fun… What a treasure was stolen from me. I wanted to do so many more things with you… I will always remember you dancing with a smile on your face. My angel.”
May her memory be a blessing 🕯️
Surreal. public hanging is OK in Iran but hugging someone in public can become a crime
Actress Fatemeh Masoudifar rested her head against Mehrdad Sedighian during a play. Tehran prosecutors opened a case over violations of “social norms.” And here’s the punchline: they were playing brother and sister.
Women have also faced flogging sentences for singing without compulsory hijab.
And what still shocks me is how many people in the West can look at all of this and treat the Islamic Republic as if this is somehow normal.
Some on the left and in liberal circles say, “This is their culture, and it must be respected.” But believe me: this is not Iranian culture. This is the ideology of ISIS, the Taliban, and the Islamic Republic.
Nobel Peace Prize laureate Oleksandra Matviichuk said she was shocked by UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese’s call to stop weapons supplies to Kyiv: doing so would mean “no peace, only rape and torture.”
Albanese should be ashamed of herself. https://t.co/aJ3K3lgWBT
Omer was only two years old. His twin sisters, Arbel and Shahar were just five and a half.
All three children were burned alive by Palestinian terrorists.
Their parents, Johnny and Tamar, were killed alongside them.
In one of his final messages to his sister Ranae, Johnny wrote: “They’re here. They’re burning us.”
Their grandmother, Carol Siman Tov, was also murdered inside her own home.
This is the reality for Israelis living next to Palestinian terror.
My name is Lin Dafni, and I was a 22-year-old Jewish woman murdered by Hamas on October 7th.
I was a victim of Palestinian terrorism.
I loved travelling, designing, planning trips for my friends, and baking sweets for my beloved family.
Please don't let my memory die out💔
My name is Margarita "Rita" Gusak, and I was a 21-year-old Jew-ish woman killed by Hamas on October 7th.
I was an painter, model, & aspiring medical student.
I came to Israel fleeing Russia. But where I sought safety: Hamas found me and took my life.
Will you remember me?
Let me introduce you to Aida Rostami, another hero from my country, Iran.
She was 36 years old. A general physician.
During January arising in 2026,, while the streets of Iran were filled with injured protesters, Aida chose to do help them. She was a doctor. Her job was to save lives.
Quietly and anonymously, she traveled to homes in western Tehran,l, to provide medical care to protesters who were afraid to go to hospitals because they feared arrest, torture, or worse.
On December 12, 2022, Aida left her home of one of the injured protesters to get medical supplies. She never came back.
The next day, her family was called to a police station and told that Aida had died in a car accident.
But when her family saw her body, they saw something very different.
Her hands were broken. The right side of her face was crushed. Her nose was shattered. Her left eye had been severely injured. There were bruises across her body.
Her family questioned the official story. And then the story changed.
First, they said it was a car accident. Later, authorities claimed she had fallen from a pedestrian bridge.
Her family continued to reject the official accounts.
And later, her brother released an audio recording that shed light on the pressure security forces had placed on the family. They took her life.
Aida was not carrying weapons, she was carrying medical supplies. She was treating wounded people.
I have a question:
How many people outside Iran know the name of Aida Rostami?
How many doctors around the world know the story of a physician who risked everything to treat injured protesters when hospitals were no longer safe?
Stella Lefty, a Jewish musician from Chicago, is currently the target of antisemitic hate.
With recent discourse over her music, many are taking it a step further, using her real last name instead of her stage name or calling her Stella Tel Aviv.
Her Wikipedia page was also falsely edited to say that she served in the IDF, a tactic many people use to justify their harassment.
I don't have an opinion on her music, that doesn't matter. What matters is that people are bullying a person and using her Jewish identity against her.
This woman is about to be executed in Iran.
Her name is Taraneh Rahimi. 20 years old. From Isfahan.
Her crime? Joining the January uprising and stopping the beating of another protester.
Sentence: DEATH after being tortured with electric shocks and threatened with rape in prison.
Despite Taraneh's deteriorating health, an official in the prison's medical unit told her:
"You're going to be executed anyway whether you die from the pain in your leg or die paralyzed, what does it matter?"
Be her voice before try he hang her!
#StopExecutionsInIran
My name is Alina Falahati, and I was a 21-year-old Russian-Israeli working on converting to Judaism when I was murdered by Hamas terrorists.
After my murder, I was missing for 3 weeks. My remains were found burned and charred. I am a victim of terrorism.
Will you remember me?
Let me introduce you to a brave hero from my country, Iran.
She was 16 years old. Just a girl. And on the streets of Iran, she did something braver than most people do in a lifetime: she took off her hijab and burned it in public. Right in front of the regime. Right in front of the world.
That was her crime: civil disobedience. A teenage girl refusing to obey men who claimed authority over her hair, her body, her life.
Her message spoke for millions of Iranian women:
To every man who rules over women in the name of religion, honor, or culture: We do not obey you. Your laws were never made for us.
This is what real power looks like: unarmed, unafraid, unbowed.
For that defiance, she was arrested. Her family says she was tortured and killed after falling into the hands of security forces. The Iranian authorities denied responsibility and gave a different account of her death.
Her name was Nika Shakarami. She was 16.
Now ask yourself: How many women in the West know her name? How many know what she risked for a freedom they have never had to fight for?
Say her name: Nika Shakarami.
