This is the salary sheet of a chemistry #teacher with a special degree in chemistry.

A few months back, Nandalal Weerasinghe increased the salary of @CBSL employees to match the increased cost of living, with the minimum increase being Rs. 43,000/=. The total minimum salary at CBSL is now Rs. 188,827/=. This increase alone was 80% of this teacher's salary.

This means that the governor of the CBSL himself acknowledged that you need at least Rs. 180,000+ to make a living in #SriLanka.

So, how can it be wrong for teachers to demand their rightful salary increase, which has been denied for more than two decades?
