@TolarianCollege Huh usually it's the opposite. Everyone remembers all the bad things you say and none of the good things. This guy saw one good thing you said and forgot all of the criticisms from all the years.

@shipleycgm Ahh yes, that one where the wizard which casts the spell and all their nonliving gear isn't damaged in the blast. Extra hot compared to a fireball, too!
In the home game, set in the Forgotten Realms circa 1375, the party often travels to a church of Lathander to get special Lathanderite priest scrolls to hedge out the undead so they can't level drain!
Level Drain…
Without level drain, these foes, and most undead in general, would not be among the top pantheon of challenges in D&D.
It serves a powerful use. Some enemies are not to be trifled with, some require much planning, and some necessitate retreat. Without it they become just another random encounter.
When you encountered a Wight you could lose a level. A Spectre can drain TWO levels. No saving throw.
Level drain is a challenge that makes players grow. Or die. It’s a necessary evil.
Thoughts?
@FPCGameSoftware@AmAd2o18@GrampsToolshed Honestly I'd have thunk Robert Jordan was the mormon, given the whole triad of wife figures Rand had, not Brandon Sanderson. But here we are. I did like the way in which men and women only overcame the greatest obstacles when working together, even though they were often at odds.
To all users of https://t.co/fsLJCLPbtY we will be going into torpor starting NEXT WEEK for an extended hiatus. We have done a ton of learning and it is time for a retool.
Part of the challenge is that the machine match-making is exceedingly expensive to run...and it's the least valuable to users.
Restructuring the data is a big project, but something we will be working on. If you would like to provide feedback for what match 2.0 should look like, please feel free to comment here or in the https://t.co/mOY06Rn6uS forum we will be creating.
In the Realms, temples of every faith will respond with aid to local disasters.
Priests of Tempus follow armies on the march to tend wounded combatants and harmed civilians.
The priests of Ilmater rush everywhere, a la the Red Cross, to deliver humanitarian aid.
