Earlier this month we had our end of season awards dinner at the John Harvey Tavern in Lewes.
It was a fantastic evening, with a lovely meal before thank-yous were said and awards were given out.

Today we finish our pre-season with an intra-club friendly at The Gudges.
So far in 2025 we’ve had two good games and wins against Lewes Priory and Plumpton.
We’re looking forward to getting that final match practice in today, before the league starts next week 💪 🏏

In Division 11 East (North), our second team will look to kick on from consecutive third place finishes. It looks another strong division with plenty of familiar faces, and a couple of new ones!
It’s fantastic to see one of our own becoming the 1’s skipper. Will is a brilliant young batter who will no doubt lead from the front.
Giles was vice-skipper of our second team last year and will look to build on the team’s positive last three seasons.
Last night we celebrated a successful 2024 with a lovely dinner.
Our first team finished fourth in a competitive Division 5 East and our second team finished third in a hotly contested Division 11 East (North).
It was a lovely evening where we said many thank you’s. Mainly to Colin Watts for umpiring throughout the season, David Williams for his amazing work on the ground and Kirsty and Will Chambers for organising the evening.

ISFIELD END 2024 WITH A FRANTASTIC WIN
A crucial 57 from Fran Robinson and a great team bowling performance helped Isfield beat Lewes Priory by 51 runs.
Isfield’s first change bowlers backed up their openers, Jack Fingerneissl (3-29) bowled accurately and varied his pace well, picking up three important wickets. Tom Fry (3-42) contributed at the other end, hitting a good length and drawing the Lewes Priory middle order into false
