I understand that people are cautious. I am too. There’s nothing trustworthy about these people.

But realistically, what options do they have? They can’t achieve “regime change” even if they dropped 100 nukes on Iran. That should be clear as day by now.

They certainly can’t send troops to invade Iran without hundreds of thousands of coffins returning home.

They can’t reopen the Strait of Hormuz once it’s closed again, and they can’t impose another sea blockade without destroying the world economy.

They could, of course, just tear apart the deal again, but Iran certainly wouldn’t return to being a sanctioned and isolated country without a) wreaking havoc on the global economy and b) going nuclear.

I am genuinely curious: what are their options?

Even if Israel preferred a nuclear armed Iran (but isolated and contained like North Korea) over an unsanctioned internationally accepted economic powerhouse, which may very well be the case - it’s too late for that. Iran’s control of the Strait makes it impossible to isolate and sanction them again.

1) You pushed for this utterly insane and unwinnable war by pretending it was sane & winnable.

2) This war inevitably forced Trump into a difficult choice: Diplomatic capitulation or economic ruin.
