- When Hyderabad had already scored around 104 runs in just six overs, with Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head attacking every bowler brilliantly, at that crucial moment in the sixth over, captain Shreyas Iyer handed the ball to Shashank Singh.

- He conceded just six runs in his first over. Then Iyer showed trust in him again by bringing him back in the eighth over, and in that very over, he dismissed both Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma.

- Using a bowler who hardly bowls in such a situation and getting crucial wickets was a brilliant example of captaincy. Dismissing a batter like Travis Head in that situation was truly exceptional.
