Months of hard work, long runs, early mornings, tough sessions and plenty of sacrifices finally paid off. My 3rd marathon and, more importantly, my first Abbott World Marathon Major.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who supported me through this journey. My friends, supporters, sponsors and everyone who donated to my Parkinson’s UK fundraising campaign. Your support carried me through those difficult miles.

A special thank you to Shoaib Nizami for introducing me to running; Faisal Shafi and Adnan Gandhi for always being there with guidance; Kaukab Sarwar for constantly motivating me; and my running mates Tariq Bhoja, Qaseem Saeed, Ali Kazi, Saulat, Mehwish, Shumyla and Hina Malik for sharing countless training miles with me.

To my SVRC family and the RKR community, thank you for making this journey so much more than running.
