@Justabogan Australia isnβt the USA.
Different problems, different pressures.
Asking Trump voters tells us nothing useful about One Nation or our housing, migration and cost-of-living reality.
@newscomauHQ It cost a lot of money to down size .
Legal fees, stamp duty, realistate fees, tax's.
If you were moving than yes would look at that as an option.
Say you from Sydney to a small coastal town.
Other then that you wouldn't spend the money just to down size.
@PCMag Maybe Firefox should take notes.
From Firefox users what we turn off, enable, and the tweaks to get even better performance and security.
Instead of wasting time redesigning the ui and adding features.
@ShackelWill Most major AI data centres are turning to nuclear for reliable 24/7 baseload power. Renewables are intermittent; nuclear delivers high-density, weather-independent clean energy. Microsoft, Google, Amazon & Meta are already locking in deals for it.
@GusLefty Sharia has no legal status in Australia.
But advocacy for installing it remains possible under present rules.
The only legal route is through elected parliaments and, where required, a referendum
.
@GusLefty No. Empathy doesn't have to be conditional to be bounded. I can understand why someone feels or acts a certain way without agreeing with them, trusting them, or accepting behaviour that harms others. Compassion and reciprocity aren't mutually exclusive.
