Hello @Mwijukyeivan – we saw that post and the questions it raised, and we do not agree with the ethnic extremism expressed. One can have their opinion about Rwanda, but they should not misrepresent Rwandans or associate us with that kind of thinking. If the post was about Uganda, it should be kept Ugandan and not drag us into it. As you rightly point out, Rwanda does not subscribe to ethnic extremism, we have worked hard to leave this behind us. We do not need it and do not want it. Our national vision and efforts in the last 32 years have been about uniting Rwandans, and we will continue to safeguard this fundamental political choice.

La haine ethnique, les falsifications historiques et les propos cyniques ont atteint un niveau inquiétant dans la classe politique congolaise, y compris dans une partie de l'opposition.

Ceci me rappelle étrangement une partie de la classe politique rwandaise des années 1990-1994 qui, dans un processus de délégitimisation génocidaire, prétendait que les Tutsi rwandais n'étaient pas de véritables autochtones.

À un certain moment, ceux qui déroulent le tapis rouge à ces politiciens sans foi ni loi, au lieu de prendre des mesures à leur encontre, devront aussi en rendre des comptes.

Kindness that was worth more than 50,000,000 million.

Modesta Nyabuhara, a brave Ugandan woman, played a crucial role in supporting the RPF/RPA Inkotanyi during the struggle for Rwanda's liberation. Mama Nyabuhara generously offered one of her houses, which became a vital resource for the RPA.

One room served as a secure storage space for ammunition and weapons, while the other functioned as a temporary medical facility for injured RPA soldiers.

Located just 4 kilometers from Rwanda, Modesta Nyabuhara's house became a pivotal hub for the RPA's operations. Despite the lack of official support from the Ugandan government, individual Ugandans like Mama Nyabuhara stepped up to contribute to the liberation of Rwanda.

In March 2014, Mama Nyabuhara was diagnosed with hypertensive heart disease at the SASA Cardiology Clinic in Kampala.

She was advised to seek treatment in either India or South Africa, but she was unable to afford the required 50 million Ugandan shillings for the operation.

The RPF led by His Excellency President Paul Kagame came to her aid, covering her medical expenses and providing additional support.✊🏿♥️

We will not forget and will forever remember the heroes and heroines who laid their lives to nurture and build foundations for the two nations that are South Africa and Rwanda today. These bonds are also forged from our steadfast belief in solidarity, African Unity and Pan Africanism.
