Imām Jaʿfar ibn Muḥammad as-Ṣādiq (رحمه الله) said:

Imam al-Shāfīʿī رحمه الله said: "The essence of person lies in 3 things:
Concealing Poverty: So much so that people presume that you are wealthy due to your modesty and integrity.
Concealing Anger: So much so that people presume that you are satisfied.

“Seventy Tabi‘in, the Imams of the Muslims, and the scholars of the world are in agreement about not revolting against the ruler even if he were to be unjust. This is Sunnah — stick to it and you will be saved.”
