@w4stedtalent@1jiare As soon as dirk lifted his pivot foot he went into a shot. The clip from 2k has the guy coming off the pivot foot into an extra step because he comes off the ground and back down with the right foot
@w4stedtalent@1jiare That’s not what’s wrong with the move, the issue is that he did a side step off a pivot foot after stopping. He didn’t just shoot off the pivot foot we went into a side step. The pivot foot left the ground, and his right foot touched ground before he shot it.
@w4stedtalent@1jiare Other guy already did but yes, dirk goes up off his pivot foot for the shot, and doesn’t come back down with either foot after lifting it. The second clip pushes off the pivot foot and lifts before taking another step off the right foot.
@ROCKINHOPPER Ran my first play through with one the other day, don’t think they’re awful but they’re certainly disappointing for how much hype they have. Design is a 10/10 though
@jai2099crypt@yg_beanburner@1jiare The first step through in the clip isn’t the issue, it’s that side step move in the second clip, you can’t come off you pivot foot into another step once it’s established.
@w4stedtalent@1jiare I hoop enough to know that that move doesn’t fly no matter what park or league you play in. I’ve played ball in and outside the US, in no part of the world is that second clip legal.
@yg_beanburner@1jiare Right, but you can’t establish a pivot foot, lift that pivot foot and then come back down with either foot. A step through works because once you jump, you take the shot that’s it. But he lunges off the left and his right foot touches the ground afterwards.
@yg_beanburner@1jiare His pivot foot left the ground and he came back down with the other foot, that’s a travel no matter what. You can’t lift your pivot foot and come back down with the other foot once it’s up you either shoot or pass.
@pokemon_daily I feel this but for mythical Pokémon in general, like why create some of the coolest Pokémon designs out there and make them obtainable only once in an event 15 years ago
@Luprimha Agreed, I feel like games are taking the approach of making bosses more tedious than difficult to add to the feeling of complexity but end up making some, not all, of the bosses a slog.
@2WayJay2 They set the bar really low way too early, let anybody in there since the beginning so now it would look weird to have a bunch of random role players from the 60’s in there and not have someone like Stoudemire
@khazarAntlers It’s gonna be BW all over again, they’re gonna hate the winds and waves Pokémon until 10 years later when they haven’t made a creative leap out of fear of backlash
@Lucas_play33 Saving my pulls for jinrang honestly, but I’m new to this stuff so these “tune strain” and “liberation damage” terms still don’t really mean much to me, I just need to see big number go boom for now.
