1. Provide proper nutrition
2. Optimize calcium intake
3. Provide around 14-16 hours of light
4. Ensure proper housing and good ventilation
5. Impliment regular vaccination to prevent diseases
6. Reduce stress by minimizing disturbances and loud noises
7. Collect eggs frequently to prevent hens from laying in hidden nests or on the floor causing breakage
8. Regularly monitor for parasites both internal and external
