When too busy making chocolates to make traditional Xmas cake. I used my Christmas cake bar fruit mix and inspiration from @SueHLawrence whisky cake - soaked fruit mix in half a bottle of whisky overnight. Baked in bottom oven of everhot for 4 hours! Will need another!

What a fantastic weekend at @FoodFromArgyll food festival! Amazing local producers, fantastic workshops and great music. #Oban and #Argyll Rocks! Amazing to be part of such a fabulous Food group. The support, friendship and collaboration is so important for a small producer.

Great opening event of @islaybookfest last night. Choir sounded fantastic, interesting and entertaining talk from The Hebridean Baker. Refreshments from Islay High School delicious. Surprised and thrilled to win 1st prize in the baking competition! Love home baking.
