The Isles intend to keep trying, they want their captain back. But Lee appears most likely headed to market at the moment. Obviously things could change between now and July 1.

Honestly, I’m not expecting a big offseason from the #Isles. My guess is they trade Duclair to clear cap space, re-sign Lee, add a backup goalie, and hope they hit on a stud in the draft.

If Barzal gets traded, I'd honestly be happy for him. Depending on where he ends up, he could finally have the chance to play alongside more skilled teammates, which would allow him to fully showcase the talent and ability that we've only seen flashes of so far. #isles
