We're looking for memories of the Duke of Clarence, a lesbian bar on the corner of Essex Rd/Rotherfield Street. It was opened from the 1980s - 2000s.

We’ve had a fair few trans people in the pub over the years, including Charlie who has a plaque on the wall outside. In that time, as far as I know, nobody has been bothered about what toilets they have used. Hopefully this will continue.
