@ddubemm I attend TACN, arguably the first Pentecostal church in NG. True Pentecostals believes the Holy Spirit can inhabit oil basically and some, water. Both are scriptural
No sound Pentecostal uses salt for anything
@ddubemm Also, being the salt of the earth is a figurative expression of our Christian is supposed to sweeten the earth, preserve it and purify it because salt does those things.
@ddubemm Salt is not recommended but it’s a cheap way to purify water, though what happened with the prophet was a prophet and more than science. The application is different.
One thing this "aborting a DS baby" conversation has made clear to me is that for a space that is predominantly Christian, CT is not a safe space. Maybe I was naive to assume otherwise sha.
Daddy GO, we are not asking you to protest. All we ask is that, as a father who truly shares in the plight of his children, you lend your voice.
That peaceful walk you led during Jonathan’s regime, Nigeria needs it now more than ever.
We(Protestants) talks so much about the Apostolic fathers. They might just say something like “our ministers are not even ministers because we lack apostolic succession”
😂
Brother Gbile said if a woman makes a vow in church to the Lord and goes home, and her husband said she should cancel it, that vow will need to be cancelled
I mean he said, if you sow a seed to your pastor like a car and you return home and hubby disagrees, you will need to go back and collect that car from Pastor
Gyokeres on the bench and Havertz starting makes no sense to me.
Does anyone know the real reason, or are we really meant to believe benching our best striker is tactical?
@SpiricocoNg Let's have one single space discussion here on Twitter. Choose the date. Choose the time. Go and study and come back to defend this statement. You don't have to agree. That is if you are not afraid. People in my circle don't have your time. For some reason, I do
So it was a civil law(for courts and judges) not personal vengeance but as it is human nature, men must have used the law to get multiple vengeance on a particular offence illegally.
So Jesus teaches mercy, he didn’t destroy the law!!
A quick diverse from this heresy.
I think the idea of an eye for an eye is that the judgment or punishment for a wrongdoing should not outweigh the wrongdoing itself. So that punishment equals and not exceeds sin.
Moses: "an eye for an eye"
Jesus: "turn the other cheek"
Disciples: "let's send down fire & destroy them like Elijah did."
Jesus: *rebukes them* "you know not what kind of spirit ye are of. The son of Man has not come to destroy but to save.
These and many more!
