Senate rejects motion seeking probe of PFIPC budget allocation

The senate has rejected a motion seeking an investigation into the inclusion of the presidential foreign intervention promotion council (PFIPC) in the 2026 Appropriation Act.

Lawmakers, however, resolved to withhold further action until the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) concludes the probe ordered by President Bola Tinubu.

Your children are going to compete in this world with other kids. They will also cooperate with their contemporaries. Prepare them for it. Yes, discipline is essential. But do not rob them of the self-confidence they will need to cooperate and compete by yelling at them, embarrassing them, scolding them too much, or ridiculing them. Build your children's confidence levels. It is better to be a bit lax than to be too harsh. Arrogance is easier to cure than timidity!

Sure, their grades, manners, and appearances matter. But not as much as their mental health. Prioritise those over the former.

THE PAINFUL NARRATIVES ON THE ADVENT OF LATE PRESIDENT BUHARI CANNOT BE ERASED VIA WRITING BOOKS .

NB: Let the best of writers and authors be assembled to continue writing on late president Muhammad Buhari, deploying the best of skills and choosing the best phrases to praise him and the best argument to exonerate him etc etc etc. .... It will still remain an exercise in futility. The painful memories of lost opportunities will not go away.

Because such a jamboree can never erase the memories of millions of Nigeria's on what Muhammad Buhari means to them.

President Buhari can mean anything to the authors, their sponsors and to the launchers, but millions of Nigerians, dead and alive had and still have a permanent indelible memory and impression about him.

1. A pretender who cried in public for power fully aware he was not competent to manage it effectively and efficiently.

An inept, colossal failure, a mistake, wicked, sadistic & daftly who was unaware of how power is to be deployed in improving the quality of lives of people and building a country. .

A man who delegates power with zero capacity for supervision, lacking reward and punishment techniques.

A helpless spectator with power at hand, who cherished watching when some of his appointees were rampaging the polity and economy.

An Architect of failure, quantity surveyor of pains , structural engineer that supervised the collapse of Nigeria's economy, commerce, politics and cohesion.

When he was alive they rushed to write books on him and they went to the banks laughing.

After his death they have begun to write books about him and they will surely laugh to the banks as usual.

What featured and is common in all the books are flawed delivery techniques, well articulated ego messaging languages and kowtowing of those who had the best of life in their association with him

They said all those flowery, heart soothing statements, over blown habits and attitudes misleading them into painting a picture of a " HERO" that he never was.

Several launching and public presentations of all books written about Buhari are nothing short of celebrating decimal failure, institutionalisation of fraud, protecting ineptness, breach of trust, entrenching nepotism as a tool & accepting deception as a requirement for appointment into public offices.

The supervision of the destruction of the credibility of electoral processes through and using Inec as a willing vehicle of shortchanging Nigerians is one of the biggest disservice late Muhammad Buhari has done to Nigerians whose confidence in the electoral processes remains impaired forever.

All those who continue to attend the launching of the books on late Muhammad Buhari are fully aware right inside their hearts that there is absolutely nothing to write about Buhari but a thrash, nothing to celebrate about him except supervising and watching over Fraud and deception. We are not meant to cut and clamp umbilical cords.
Cord circulation continues for 30+ minutes after birth, meaning for over 30 minutes, stem cells, blood and vital nutrients are meant to be pumping into the baby.

When the cord is clamped right away, the child usually gasps for air because they were recieving oxygen from the cord. This is why babies can be born underwater and not drown, as they don't need to use their lungs right away.
Letting the cord detach on its own, like all animals in the wild, allows for maximum stem cell and blood tranfusion to the baby, leading to healthier, more developed babies!!

How Long Should Cord Clamping be Delayed?
It depends who you ask.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) says at least 30-60 seconds.

The World Health Organization recommends at least 1 minute, or until the cord has stopped pulsing.

Ideally, providers should wait until the umbilical cord is completely drained, limp and white in color.

At the 1 minute mark, baby will receive 50% of the cord blood
At the 3 minute mark, baby will receive 90% of the cord blood
At around the 5 minute mark, baby gets all of the necessary cord fluids!!

When baby’s umbilical cord is clamped right away, he misses out on that iron infusion and can struggle with anemia as a result. In fact, 10-20 percent of toddlers in the U.S. are anemic.
