One of the patients I attended to, said that she came for pregnancy scan to check how her baby was doing, because she suddenly started spotting.
We began the scan, and her womb looks normal, with no sign of pregnancy.
So I asked, did you do any pregnancy test? she said no.
So how did you know you were pregnant? she replied, that she missed her period.
So I said, we would run a test for you, if positive, it's possible very early pregnancy. Although, no sign of pregnancy is seen on scan. I didn't even finish talking, when my patient got provoked and was visibly angry. Then she said, how would you say I'm not pregnant, when I am pregnant?
Anyways, she eventually did the test, and it turned negative. Na once my patient humble.
Below is what we saw on ultrasound.
