At 6:29 a.m. on Oct 7, 2023 Palestinian Hamas terrorists invaded Israel, stormed communities, murdered families in their homes, raped, burned and kidnapped.

Three years on, Israel remembers the victims and the barbarity of Palestinian jihadist terrorism.

We will never forget.

Today at 6:29 a.m. the Israeli flag at the President's Residence was lowered to half-mast in commemoration.
Three years later.
We remember every victim. Every hero.
We will never forget what Hamas did on October 7, 2023.

For the next 25 hours, Israel is offline for Yom Kippur - the holiest day of the Jewish year, dedicated to fasting, prayer and reflection - except in the event of an emergency.

Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the Jewish year - a day of fasting, prayer, reflection and forgiveness.

Once a year, Israel comes to a near standstill. The roads empty.

A day to pause, look inward and start anew.

Spoke with the Honourable Sean Sobers, FM of Trinidad and Tobago.
I commended the decision of @PM_Kamla to designate Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, Hezbollah and Hamas as terror organizations.
I also expressed our intent to strengthen relations across many fields.
I look forward to welcoming the FM in Israel.
