נפגשנו היום, ארבע שעות של עדות שמדי פעם היינו חייבים לקחת הפסקות ונשימות על מנת להמשיך.

אני מניח פה את מה שאורית כתבה שנה לנפילת בנה רועי גיבור מדינת אזרחי ישראל.

בדרך התקשרתי לבן שלי
ובירכתי אותו בברכת שבת מחבקת ואוהבת.

וכך כתבה -

״אני עייפה כל כך ילד. לא בטוחה שמסוגלת להמשיך ללכת את הדרך הזו כשאתה לא כאן.
אז שתיתי איתך. אצלך, לצידך. לצד הגוף המת מתפורר שלך. מה נשאר ממנו אני לא בטוחה. אולי עצמות, קצת שערות? שיניים גם?
ושתיתי. המון שתיתי. ולא הפסקתי. עד שקרסתי לאדמה לצידך. לא מספיק עמוק. רציתי להגיע עמוק אליך, אבל יש שם ריצוף, וטוף, ושיש,

נרדמתי
כל אתמול עבר עלי בסהרוריות. כאילו האלכוהול התמקם לי בין הגבות.
אחה"צ יצאתי אליך. התביישתי מעט. ממך. אבל אתה תמיד סלחת לי. גם בעליבותי. ניקיתי. הדלקתי נר חדש. לשבת. נישקתי. ויצאתי. המשכתי למצפור. הלכתי להשקות את העצים. חם כל כך.
