YOUR ARTICLE IS FLAWED
MEANING OF “FLAWED”:
Flawed describes something/idea with defect, imperfection, weakness, or fault.
YOUR CLAIM
“A Child Born in Masaki and a Child Born in Temeke Both Live in Dar es Salaam. Their Schools Are in Different Worlds. Tanzania's Education Geography Is the Country's Most Consequential Inequality. “ - @KennedyMmari
MY RESPONSE:
ONE, sio kweli kuwa Masaki na Temeke residents are in different worlds. Muhimbili Primary, my classmates were from Magomeni, Kariakoo, Upanga, Oysterbay, Masaki & I came from Ukonga.
TWO, Masaki, a residential area for foreign dignitaries, high ranking government officials & the ultra rich, does not have many academic institutions like that! Oysterbay Primary had more Kinondoni kids than Oysterbay’s as O’Bay kids were in either Bunge, Olympio or Muhimbili.
THREE, Tanzania has no ZONING LAWS, that bind kids into attending schools within their POSTCODES, hence Parents can register their kids where they believe they would get affordable quality education
A FRUGAL PARENT in Masaki may let his kids go to Public school (Pugu, Kibasila) while an ambitious parent in Shinyanga, will let his child come to Temeke to live with his Uncle, so he can attend Mzizima or Shaaban Robert.
FOUR, you had a limited sample size. Examining Dar scenario, essentially Masaki vs Temeke, is not conclusive enough to formulate a “Tanzania Narrative”.
FIVE,your examples are INCOMPARABLE!! Like I said in my earlier rebuttal, disparity in Education is solemnly visible in Private vs Public schools. You can’t prove inadequacy of Academia by using International School Of Tanganyika (IST).
SIX, SHIFTING NARRATIVE; you pointed out “Education Geography” as key, but failed to prove it and instead you shifted into Curriculum & Budget. Unaongelea Private vs Public Schools? and kuhusu Postcode/Geography, shule nzuri zipo everywhere. Special Schools za Serikali (Kibaha, Iliboru, Mzumbe, Kilakala), ni nzuri. Private schools zinazofata global standards (Teacher to Student ratio, mazingira conducive, adequate facilities, etc) zipo everywhere; St. Anthony (Mbagala), Feza (Mikocheni), Loyola (Mabibo), Msolwa (Morogoro), Mazinde Juu & Kifungiro (Tanga), etc.
Then ukasifia CAMBRIDGE CURRICULUM over our GCSE. Cambridge is catering to watu wa ki-international, ila curriculum & syllabus sio what gives them competitive advantage. Pia sio kweli kuwa only watu wa Cambridge ndio eligible to enroll in prestigious colleges abroad; hata wewe ukipiga vibanda vyako vya kutosha na ukafanya Standardized test like SATs, unaweza kuingia Harvard au MIT kutokea Zanaki au Kigonsera!
About Budget allocation, it only applies to public na sio private schools.
So Education Geography (first time nimesikia hii term) & Masaki vs Temeke, is inconclusive! IST example is invalid
🗣️ Zinedine Zidane on Cristiano Ronaldo:
“First, congratulations to Messi for his performance and hat trick. At 39 years old, what he is doing is incredible, but today I want to speak about Cristiano Ronaldo.
Today is Ronaldo’s day. Whenever he plays, football wins because we are watching one of the greatest players in history. People talk about his age, but his ambition, mentality, and desire to win remain exactly the same.
Portugal have a fantastic squad. Their midfield is full of quality—Bruno Fernandes, Vitinha, João Neves, and Bernardo Silva can compete with any midfield in the world. Technically, they are outstanding players.
However, sometimes I feel Ronaldo does not receive the same support that Messi receives with Argentina. Argentina understand how to maximize Messi’s strengths and help him influence the game. Portugal have the quality to do the same for Ronaldo.
Cristiano has spent nearly twenty years giving everything to his country. He has scored goals, broken records, won trophies, and carried Portugal through some of their greatest moments. If this is one of his final chances to achieve something special again with Portugal, then everyone around him should be helping make that dream a reality.
What makes Ronaldo special is not only his talent but his mentality. He never stops believing, never stops competing, and never stops fighting for victory.
That is why today I will be watching Cristiano Ronaldo. Not because he has something left to prove, but because legends deserve to be appreciated while they are still playing.” 🇵🇹🐐
@EsirEid Na hili wachambuzi wengi uwa hawalisemi, Hata Romanio juzi kati alisema “kama ureno watacheza kama Argentina kumzunguka CR7 basi watachukua kombe la Dunia, ila wakicheza kutaka kuonekana wapo juu ya CR7 hawafiki mbali”
