The "races" are a good example of this. They're called heritages and show roughly where your magic blood comes from. I played an Asterion (minotaur) moose variant while one of my players used it as a rhinoceros beetle. How much you can express your individual ideas are amazing!

Look, as someone who focuses on the story, you can't beat how customizable this game is. Everything is for use as guidelines, but I've seen them bend easily to good story telling without taking away from the experience!The "races" are a good example of this.
