@lorenmtaylor Let’s Go!!! #LorenforOakland

[Loren Taylor @lorenmtaylor]

After a recent struggle with a rare disease, facing major organ failure, I fought for my life in December. Now I’m back and 100% again! And my faith tells me there is more work for me to do.

Business-as-usual politics in Oakland has failed us. And now, the same political operatives who installed the recalled mayor and brought us to the brink of bankruptcy want us to once again trust their pick.

We need fresh energy and new leadership that ensures every dollar of our budget serves the practical needs of our residents—not fighting ideological crusades. If we keep voting for more of the same we will get exactly what we voted for.

Join us at https://t.co/uRBo9IcMJ7. Donate, volunteer, and share this video with your friends and neighbors so we can fight for the future Oaklanders deserve.

It was fun here while it lasted! Changing scenery but excited to continue sharing content about all things gastroenterology, colon cancer, health equity and life in general as a Black 🦄 in medicine. Join me where the skies are bluer!

[Loren Taylor @lorenmtaylor]

To our Southern California neighbors facing these devastating challenges, we stand with you. The road to recovery is long, but together, we’ll rebuild stronger than ever. As Mayor, I will be committed to quickly reopening closed fire stations and restoring our rainy day fund.

Let’s unite in action. Here are three incredible relief organizations making a difference:
🌟 California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Relief Fund
🌟 Direct Relief
🌟 American Red Cross

Every bit of support counts. Let’s show up for one another. ❤️ #CommunityFirst #CaliforniaStrong

@AdjoaGIMD @theNCI Congratulations!!! You did it and yes, you look like a researcher because you are! 🙌🏾🥳🥂

[Adjoa Anyane-Yeboa, MD MPH @AdjoaGIMD]

Excited to share that I was awarded a K08 from @theNCI 🎉🥂 Couldn’t have done this w/o my incredible mentors 🙏🏿

In training when I thought abt what a researcher was/looked like, I never envisioned someone like me. I’m glad to change that, even just a bit, for those after me ❤️
