So it could’ve been harmless speculation; it could’ve been more pointed - and, equally, both sides could’ve interpreted the same conversation in totally different ways. But unless you were there, it’s pointless to make assumptions either way. Hope that helps. 5/5

I can totally see a situation where almost THE EXACT SAME conversation can be/feel more challenging and less friendly. Especially in a family where someone turned up for your first formal gathering wearing a golliwog brooch, so… 🤷🏽‍♀️ 4/5
