Rally Together London shows how sport can bring communities together and create real opportunities for young Londoners.
Part of the wider HSBC Championships, Trafalgar Square was transformed into a tennis court to give young people from across the city a place to connect, play, and get inspired.

The LTA and Getty Images are proud to celebrate 50 years of wheelchair tennis, with a digital exhibition of 50 images – some published for the first time.
Created in 1976, by American Brad Parks, what began on public courts in California quickly gathered momentum. By the mid‑1980s, international tournaments were being staged, the World Team Cup had been launched, and the ITF had formally recognised wheelchair tennis.
Today, wheelchair tennis is fully embedded across the four Grand Slams and the Paralympics Games, with men’s, women’s, quad and junior events now contested on the world’s biggest stages.
The LTA brought together key figures from the world of wheelchair tennis to select 50 iconic images from across the years from the Getty Images’ vast tennis archive as well as previously unseen historic photographs.

Today it was fantastic to be at Queen’s Club to see the first WTA 500 women’s champion crowned there in 52 years. Great to see a capacity crowd out in support of women’s tennis.
🎾🎾 ILKLEY TROPHY 🏆
Absolutely brilliant! An almighty effort by the whole team at Ilkley Lawn Tennis & Squash Club for organising yet again a fantastic Ilkley Trophy Tournament.
Rik Smith - our Ilkley Lawn Tennis Chairman and Tournament Director together with Chris Harrison-Bloom, the clubs General Manager and the whole team did an amazing job.
With about 20,000 people in attendance, 2,000 people using hospitality, about 200 volunteers and many students from Ilkley Grammar School getting involved, it was a huge success.
Each year, the event goes from strength to strength - attracting incredible players, whose performances on pitch are just superb. The hospitality and events made this year’s whole tournament a real fun experience - having a real positive impact on Ilkley.
A huge amount of effort goes in to hosting the event with many volunteers and club members getting involved, and the positive impact the tournament has on Ilkley, our schools and the wider area is superb. Many local businesses, accommodation providers and hospitality also hugely benefit from the event.
The Ilkley Trophy is one of the highlights of the summer grass court season with world-class tennis.
The event is by far the biggest UK Tennis tournament in the North of UK.
Well done to all involved! And thank you again for all your efforts in making the whole tournament be such a great event.
It was a privilege to attend.
🎾 Congratulations to Tristan Schoolkate 🇦🇺 who beat Jack Pinnington Jones 🇬🇧 after an incredible match.
And…
🎾 Congratulations to Iva Jovic 🇺🇸 who wins the Ilkley Challenger title in straight sets over Rebecca Marino 🇨🇦
