Launching on April 1st meant I got back in time to celebrate my 23rd wedding anniversary with Catherine today! Grateful to be able to share this zero g photo of my wedding ring in person over dinner tonight… as well as some cuddle time on Earth.
It blows my mind that the projected splashdown time for Artemis II was 5:07pm, and it was, in fact, 5:07pm.
Just a casual spot-on ETA from the fucking moon, no big deal.
I never thought I’d relate to an astronaut until Christina Koch casually put on lip balm right before the flyby.
Even in space, priorities are priorities. 🚀 🌙
“What did you get up to this weekend, Issy?”
Oh, just tried to wrap my head around why we can’t see the far side of the moon, dyed my hair, and turned a cupboard into a room for the dog.
You?
Annual reminder: Santa doesn’t wrap presents. He sets them up, adds the batteries, and makes sure they’re ready to go so kids can play and Mum can enjoy a brew in peace before the chaos 🎄☕ 😉
The little ones aren’t so little anymore, and each Christmas I’m struck by the thought that this could be the last one before everything changes. I don’t feel prepared for it.🥺
Right listen, no one and I mean no one tell my husband that the cute little neon coffee wall light has *finally* stayed on the kitchen wall because I lost my rag and used nail glue. Ok?
