My patient is long term pain mgmt. his doc got cancer and retired so he had to switch providers. New pain mgmt won’t continue his fentanyl patches. But Oxy IR 30 QID is fine???

@NYUDocs we also need to differentiate between allergy intolerance and side effect. So many of my patients get labeled as having an allergy to a medication and it creates unnecessary phone calls and delays in care when it is not a true allergy.
