Alhamdulillah! I passed my PhD Viva today with "very, very minor corrections." My examiners commended my thesis for making "original contribution to a very important and timely topic", of "excellent standard" and "well-written and structured". I would like to sincerely thank the following individuals who have contributed throughout this journey:
1. My First Supervisor, Professor Mashood Bederin
2. My Second Supervisor, Professor Lynn Welchman
3. My Third Supervisor, Professor Philippe Cullet
4. My Ext Examiner, Professor Ahmed Al-Dawoody
5. My Internal Examiner, Dr. Nada Ali
6. My Viva Chair, Professor Matthew Craven
I couldn't have asked for better supervisors than Professor Baderin and Professor Welchman. They supported, guided, and cheered me on throughout the process. Having Professor Al-Dawoody, the leading authority in this area, examine me is a huge blessing. His generous praise of my thesis is incredibly humbling.
