صباح يوم 19 أغسطس اقتحمت قوات الاحتلال الإيطالي بلدة جفارة الليبية واعتقلت اكثر من 500 رجل واقتادوهم في الشوارع بالسلاسل كالحيوانات ثم قتلوهم أمام أطفالهم ثم أخذوا النساء وجردوهن من الثياب وشنقوهن عاريات.

كانت هذه المجزرة واحدة من العديد من المجازر التي ارتكبتها قوات الاحتلال الإيطالي في ليبيا خلال فترة الاستعمار.

لم يتم محاسبة أي من المسؤولين عنها وظلت هذه المجزرة جريمة حرب غير معترف بها حتى عام 2013.

لا تنسوا أنّ تقروا التاريخ فهو من يعلمنا من هم الارهابيون حقيقةً..
