Happy 40th to the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. I feel very lucky that I get to go to law school at a time when the rule of law reigns supreme. Not so lucky that I have to understand what's happening in s 24(2) for my evidence exam, but that's a minimal impairment. #Charter40

When I was in grade 10, I got an English assignment back with feedback asking “do you know what a comma is?” Anyway, found out today I’ll be a co-Editor-in-Chief for the Alberta Law Review (Calgary). Unfortunately, I still have no clue what a comma is.
