Can bio-based solutions help reduce the environmental impact of humanitarian operations? This was one of the key questions discussed during the final event of the European project @bio_4_human funded by European Union, where partners shared the project's main results.
🗣️ Our ITENE expert, Carla Bartolomé, took part in one important panel discussion.
Carla presented the outcomes of the identification and assessment of bio-based solutions, as well as the conclusions from the Life Cycle Assessment studies carried out throughout the project.

This week, @itene took part in the 36th Annual Meeting of Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) Europe, held in Maastricht, a leading international event focused on risk assessment, #sustainability and #environmentalsafety.
During the congress, our experts Arantxa Ballesteros and Javier Alcodori presented five European projects in which ITENE is involved, all funded by the European Union, addressing #biodegradable products assessment, #polymers and innovative environmental analysis methodologies:
🌍 La calidad del aire ya no es solo una cuestión #ambiental, es un reto tecnológico, científico y de salud pública que exige nuevas soluciones.
Hoy, medir ya no es suficiente. La diferencia está en la capacidad de interpretar, predecir y actuar con datos fiables.
