A data investigation from our Rape Gang Inquiry has uncovered that despite the White British making up 74% of the population of England and Wales, they accounted for only 2,622 (62%) of child sex crime convictions in 2024.

Foreign nationals make up roughly 11% of the population of England and Wales, but were overrepresented in the conviction statistics, at 17%.

We urgently need full transparency on the nationality, ethnicity, immigration status and religion of those perpetrating horrific crimes on young children.

Why has it taken our inquiry to extract this information from the Ministry of Justice?

Why are foreign nationals overrepresented in the analysis? Should we not at least start to question the motivations?

For too long, officials have refused to collect this data properly, buried what little exists, or downplayed it in the name of ‘community relations’.

We are calling on the Government to:

- Mandate standardised national data collection on the ethnicity, nationality, religion and immigration status of those convicted of child sexual abuse and exploitation.
- Publish this data regularly and in full - not selectively.
- Ensure that policy is shaped by facts, not ideology - and put child safeguarding above political correctness.

Of course, we need this data for all crime - but never underestimate how incompetent these people are.

One step at a time.

More investigations are ongoing, with results soon to be released.

Our inquiry is making important progress.
