What's the reason of asking admission fees for the current semester suddenly at the middle of the semester? Why can't the college authority provide complete details about different parts the admission fees?

The college authority is demanding an hefty amount as semester fees that too within a very short period of time. It had also been noticed that the semester fees for 2nd semester is double than the other even sems.

In such a situation, it is almost impossible to pay such an amount within a short time. Moreover it had been found that the other Govt. Engineering colleges in Assam had not charged such an amount for any semester till date. Is JEC a private engineering college, not under ASTU?
