"Cause you don't like being scared?" Irren blinked, confused as to why the guard wouldn't want her to tell.

She was beaming from ear to ear seeing that she'd beat him to the hall, jumping up and down from all that energy.
"I did it!! My shoes make me really fast, they- they light up and it makes me go even faster!!"
His sacrifice was much appreciated, and has significantly -
"Am I in trouble...?" She'd ask, managing to stop wailing so she could be tended to.
"I- I got scared is all. I didn't mean to get hurt"
"Yay!! What your favorite animal?" She asked, wanting to make sure she got him the perfect gift.
He paused, head tilted.
"A.. present?" He'd hum and think about it. He doesn't need anything in return for saying he'd visit but.. he doesn't want to make her sad.
"Sure. A present it is."
Sniffles, sitting up as best as she could with her scraped knees.

With that declaration, Irren let go of Monty's hand and began running as fast as she could to the dining hall. She was determined to win this race.
"I'm gonna beat ya Monty!!"
The child didn't get too far, tripping over her untied shoes rather quickly and slamming into the linoleum.

She'd go a bit quiet, munching on her pizza as she tried thinking of something she could promise him.
"Can I get you a present? A special friend like Chicken?"
"Nope ! That's my promise to you.. you can, if you want to, but it's not necessary."
He took another bite of his pizza, leaning his head on his free hand.
"Yeah!" She roared excitedly, trying to act and walk like her idol Monty. "We're gonna get pizza now right? And drink lotsa fizzy-faz too!
