A lot of people come forth and say nice things about famous actors when they pass away, but the level of love people are expressing for Sam Neil is truly something and it's not just because he played a certain famous role.
He truly was and is beloved, not just as an actor.
Sam was one of my biggest heroes, from some of the first films I truly fell in love with. He was an inspiration to me, and while I never got to meet him, I at least have this memory to cherish. 🦖
When the world seems close to pear shaped,
When leaders fill you with despair
When things look dark and dreary
And love seems far too rare -

RIP Sam Neill. An absolute legend, who so beautifully represented paleontologists on screen.
My biggest regret working on Jurassic World is that I never got to meet him on the Dominion set because of the Covid protocols...
Godspeed Dr Alan Grant!

Laura Dern has paid tribute to the late Sam Neill after his tragic passing.
“Sam was my beloved lifetime friend… He showed me the depths of loyalty, protectiveness and love always with the driest of wit.
A true and noble gentleman, who was wrapped up in my dream leading man. I will love you forever, Dr. Alan Grant.”
Over 30 years ago, Sam Neill walked with dinosaurs. All of us watching Jurassic Park that summer of 1993 were as stunned as Neill’s Dr. Allen Grant to see those ancient creatures imbued with life on screen. The performances from Neill and his castmates helped ILM’s visual effects feel grounded and believable.
Hey everyone, I hate to ask for assistance, but I don't know where else to turn. I'm posting for help with getting my 86 year old dad a replacement work van, so he can continue to work and provide for my family. Especially my disabled sister. My dad has always worked hard to support our family, even after two open-heart surgeries and double knee replacements. Now, his work van has broken down, and he can’t accept jobs or transport tools and supplies we desperately need. This van is also our family’s only way to get to medical appointments and dialysis. After launching just today, I’d be grateful for any support—whether through a donation or sharing this with others. Even a small gift or a quick share can help us keep his work and our family moving forward. Thank you so much for your kindness and prayers during this difficult time. I also have a thread on TD if anyone wants to read more about it. Seriously thanks to anyone that can help out at all. https://t.co/mUOzRtT9B5
