🗣️ Rodri: “Honestly, I was surprised. I expected it to be presented on the stage like every other award after the final whistle. Instead, President Infantino came into the tunnel after the ceremony and personally handed me the ring.

La fuerte injerencia de la UEFA en la reelección de Gianni Infantino levanta enormes sospechas sobre el arbitraje de la final del Mundial. El presidente del organismo europeo, el esloveno Aleksander Čeferin, metió por escritorio al árbitro Slavko Vinčić, también esloveno y amigo suyo, para dirigir el partido más importante del torneo.

El escándalo es todavía mayor: los dos jueces de línea elegidos para acompañar a Vinčić, Tomaž Klančnik y Andraž Kovačič, también son eslovenos. Es decir, la FIFA puso la final completamente en manos de una terna arbitral del mismo país que el presidente de la UEFA.

Además, bajo la presidencia de Čeferin, la UEFA ya había premiado a Vinčić con las finales de la Europa League 2022 y de la Champions League 2024 entre Real Madrid y Borussia Dortmund. En aquella definición europea también estuvo acompañado por Klančnik y Kovačič.

El historial del árbitro suma todavía más polémica: en 2020 fue detenido durante una redada en Bosnia y Herzegovina contra una red criminal vinculada con la prostitución, el narcotráfico y el tráfico de armas. En el lugar, la Policía encontró prostitutas, cocaína y pistolas.

Vinčić terminó perjudicando abiertamente a la Argentina con sus decisiones durante la final, especialmente con la expulsión de Enzo Fernández y la no expulsión de Marc Cucurella, mientras favoreció sistemáticamente a España.

La relación entre el árbitro y el hombre más poderoso del fútbol europeo, sumada a una terna íntegramente eslovena y a sus reiteradas designaciones en finales, aumenta las sospechas de que su elección no fue casual y vuelve todavía más escandaloso el robo sufrido por la Selección.
