@GarandThumb1 My favorite 1911 I've owned has to be the Kimber BP Ten II it's a monstrosity of steel and polymer but had 13+1 on tap picked it up in 2005.

A lot of die hard 1911 folks hated how cheap it looked but it still performed as a Kimber should and for $550 was a good deal.
