Ria Chopra gets a disproportionate amount of hate which can only be explained as misogyny when you haven't read the book. If you have read it and disliked it, perfectly fair and completely okay to critique THE BOOK.

If we are talking debut books, Acts of God by Kanan Gill. I don't remember seeing any tweets dragging his book on a weekly basis.

Yes he used to be ridiculed a lot but he is now given the benefit of being ignored, a grace not offered to Ria
@HighschoolMelo exactly. the worst that male authors will receive is being ignored. You won't see people taking cheap shots at them on a weekly basis. You won't see threads on what terrible authors they are or how their writing is "slop"
