ItsAnimeOK

Anime. Watch it. Love it. Hate it. Tweet about it.

I've been meaning to at least cross post, now? Hell with it, I may just make a go of things there for a while. I may still reply to things I see here for a bit.

@B_Rabbit843 Marin is a highschool aged girl. . . & This dude is going on about not seeing her nipples?

Not really a great look for, I assume he's a reasonably grown ass man?

[ItsAnimeOK @ItsAnimeOK]

@ArtistMitchy Much more colorful than the one from my childhood.

[ItsAnimeOK @ItsAnimeOK]

@LiquidDimma @RaihanH98 Yeah, by the time he turned up in Wing Commander he seems to have accepted at least to some extent that he makes for a good hero/pilot. That Malcolm McDowell, John Rhys-Davies & Tom Wilson are all there too makes it a neat who's who in an era of CD-ROM games with FMV.

There's a grimoire in this box canyon Fern. . .

@B_Rabbit843 I remember years back a couple of guys from the Giant Bomb gaming site who were big WWE fans had a podcast where they watched through DBZ Kai as if they were sort of recapping wrestling match ups. Very fun to see them steadily get into it.

@N7Necromorph As fun as it would be, I get the sense that the costs are sunk and the process of cranking those CG movies out at a steady clip is too well established.

@RaihanH98 Pulling all the obvious ads for existing companies out of the US version is definitely unfortunate because it blunts the sponsorship angle a bit and also stuff like this happens.

[ItsAnimeOK @ItsAnimeOK]

@B_Rabbit843 Still got it. That headphone jack was key for a kid sneaking some late night video games.

[ItsAnimeOK @ItsAnimeOK]

@B_Rabbit843 At least it's getting a Dub somewhere. Netflix definitely fumbled when they had it for so long without a Dub.

@RaihanH98 The Fable

[ItsAnimeOK @ItsAnimeOK]

@B_Rabbit843 I mean, he's basically been taking selfies to sell to J Jonah Jameson this whole time so why not cut out the middle man?

[ItsAnimeOK @ItsAnimeOK]

@The25thNigga Oh, don't you worry about that, you'll have plenty more plot when you're caught up.

#Spoilers for the current season's ending song I guess? It's like 25% Freya's feet. I'm sure someone out there is excited for that, and I'm happy for them I guess!? 😂

@B_Rabbit843 I like that Bell seems semi-aware of the hero's journey since he's so taken with stories of heroes. Commenting on times when he rejects certain tropes of a typical hero's story as he does in the Haruhime arc.

I do wish we'd get another season of the Ais spin-off Sword Oratoria.

[ItsAnimeOK @ItsAnimeOK]

Is Bell Cranel a silly and overly innocent harem anime MC? Yes.

But he also locks the f*ck in and pulls off sh!t like this.

[ItsAnimeOK @ItsAnimeOK]

@MechaGirlOTD A touching story about a girl & her dog.

When you finish watching Dai-Guard & think, "If only there were more series about Mecha pilots dealing with budgets & bureaucracy."

Bullbuster is there!

Or if you liked Bullbuster? You'll probably like Dai-Guard or watched it already.

[ItsAnimeOK @ItsAnimeOK]

@RaihanH98 I wouldn't pitch it as purely a fantasy series, the harem element is so prominent. I enjoy it, the action is solid, the casts for the Sub/Dub are great & Bell is an easy character to root for. The Sword Oratoria spin-off is also good, fleshing out Ais with a bit of a Yuri angle.

[ItsAnimeOK @ItsAnimeOK]

@AJBecklesVO Not bad for an awkward kind of guy.
