I think Arimisยฎ๏ธ is arguably the only Kenyan #brand that any #GraphicDesigner would want to work on. I took on the label redesign as a self-initiated creative challenge. (This project is not commissioned by TCI (K) Ltd)
I would like to extend my appreciation to is a podcast by two girls Linet & Kyengo - the LK Podcast. In their platforms they are quickly challenging the female perspectives of young women of a certain age. Which led to the inspiration of the logo was a budding flower.
Layout design is an art, a lost art maybe, I posit due to the slow death of reading. How does the choice of imagery support such a craft. A slow craft that considers everything. Good design goes beyond the thing that you design, it goes to the world you build around it.
Today, I am extremely thankful for my team of dedicated individuals, the guys I depend on. They are the beating heart of the operation I run and am forever grateful. Nesh, the most dependable photographer & Marlik, arguably the best reels doctor this side of the Sahara. ๐๐ฆ๐

This lovely Friday evening, I would like to just share a word of appreciation to all my clients. Past, present and in hope future. Thank you, for the opportunity you have given, a kid from the foot of Mount Kenya who grew up to be a lawyer & who grew up to be a brand architect.
How far can an idea go if done pro-bono? I believe pro-bono is an excuse to not do. Self generated projects don't necessarily have to be monetarily inclined. The hope is that this may lead to a relationship with the brand. #logo#design#graphicdesign#branding#logodesigner#art
I have purposed to give myself creative challenges as a way to express my capabilities as well as a way to reach out to brands I would love to work with. My first attempt is for the Arimi's brand. Arimi's is a brand that enjoys a lot of brand love for its unchanging formulation.
I live by a simple process. Very similar to that of taking a shot of tequila. With salt and a slice of lime. That's how we deal with hard stuff at the design shop I run. As easy or as hard as taking a shot of tequila. Depending on how you take it.
As a designer we are expected, nowadays at least, to turn around entire campaigns in every post we make. There's a high rate of churn and work that won't be seen by a lot of eyeballs. Is the requirement to make as creative a billboard as can be of all the social media posts?
