Glad I didn't jump the gun on another FFXI post

Was about to mistakenly say I can't find a way to see currently active side quests from smaller NPCs like shopkeeps and such only to find it does exist but you're never told when anything is added to the side quest list

just ran the whole thing blind and had to actually explore this place.

No fog of war

no quest markers

just go in and kill the requested enemy, and possibly miss a story cutscene if i didnt know there was something to look for here thanks to the wiki

okay this is an interesting part of FFXI i wasnt expecting

You as the player only get maps for the starting areas. any new dungeons you go to for a quest or mission you dont have a map for at first. Yeah you can buy one but the first time i started this quest i (1/2)
